The Imperative will fund projects that positively impact the psychological, emotional and physical ability for Black people to operate optimally. Our work seeks to invest in creative ways to minimize the impact of chronic, generational stress by funding programs that build the esteem and capacities of Africans and Afro-descendants.
Connection
In order to support each other, we must see each other. The Imperative supports projects that strengthen historical, cultural, social and economic connections in the US, Africa, and the Diaspora.
